The College of Contract Management is offering this excellent opportunity to become a Professional Member of the Association of Planning Engineers with the APE Professional Membership Coaching. In order to make the most of your planning engineer career, you can progress to become MAPE. Most importantly, this is a great way to showcase your professional standards in the industry.

This can be a tricky process to navigate. So, you will receive guidance and support on your journey to becoming a Professional Member (MAPE) of the APE.

Throughout your coaching sessions, you will learn more about the expectations of APE. Also, you’ll learn about the requirements needed to successfully become a Professional Member. MAPE is one of the highest memberships offered and is a benchmark of competence. A degree-level qualification and industry experience are needed to achieve this membership ranking.

Most importantly, our coaching assessor is an expert in the planning industry and will help you succeed in your Professional Membership application.

Coaching Delivery

The APE Coaching Programme will be delivered by a professional who is familiar with the regulations and terms of the Association of Planning Engineers. Additionally, coaching will be provided live-online, so you will need to attend the sessions in real-time as they will not be recorded. This is when you can ask any questions you may have about the Assessment of Competence and Professional Review. Moreover, during the coaching programme, your lecturer will help advise you which pathway is best for your career.

Your coach will help you to review the guidelines and requirements needed to successfully complete your membership application. This will be provided live-online, so you can ask any questions in real-time and work through your application with your assessor. Further, you can ask them any further queries you may have by sending them a message if you require anything outside of teaching hours.

Likewise, since the lecturing sessions are organised on weekends, this should cause minimal disruption to your work schedule. You can try to arrange a time which is best for you. In fact, this flexible style of learning has proved very popular and is favoured by many as it is much more lenient and allows a better work-life balance.

Period of Study

The coaching sessions will take place over a period of 6 to 8 weeks. This is to make sure all requirements are met and a full understanding of the application is reached accordingly. In addition, you will receive live-online coaching from your lecturer each week. Further, they will use screen-sharing software in order to show examples and techniques to help with your application. Most importantly, your coaching provider will help refine your application over the period of the programme to make sure you have the best possible chance at success.

Course Availability

This course runs all year round with the College of Contract Management and will start immediately after you have signed up for coaching. Following this, throughout the 6-8 weeks, you will complete a draft Assessment of Competence. Following this, your coaching assessor will review your work before submission.

Coaching Fees

This coaching programme usually costs £300, however for a limited time we are running this course for just £116. This covers the cost of the expert coach and their time to review and refine your application. Most importantly, to make sure the application is successful for the APE.

Please note: During the time of the global coronavirus pandemic, the fee for this coaching programme will be £110. However, this discounted rate will not last long. Use this time as an excellent opportunity to further your planning career with expert help and guidance.
