Introduction
One of the most effective ways to manage organisational change is through the implementation of McKinseys’s 7-S Model. It highlights seven key elements that change leaders should be considering when faced with change. The structure of this model demonstrates how change to one of the elements creates a domino effect that transfers to each element individually. Through proper implementation of McKinsey’s 7-S Model, you can create a change culture that drives change throughout each element, restoring balance through shared goals.
This online CPD course will cover each of the 7 Ss and the interconnectivity of each element. The model itself consists of “Hard Ss” and “Soft Ss”, both of which will be covered in detail. You will study: skills, staff, shared values, strategy, systems, structure and style. With each element you will study how to apply the McKinsey model and the 4 steps that are vital to ensure the model is working correctly. In addition to this you will learn about both the advantages and disadvantages of the model and what its use could mean for your business.
