Key Benefits
1. Flexible HR Courses that Work Around You
Studying online is the perfect solution for you if any of the following apply to you:
- If you are currently working:
For those who are trying to further their career or change paths completely, online courses are a convenient way to gain a career-changing qualification without affecting your current job. This is because all of our live online lectures are delivered at weekends or can be caught up with at a time and day that is most convenient for you. Moreover, we give you the opportunity to further your career without sacrificing your income.
- If you don’t want to travel:
Travelling to lectures and seminars can be expensive and time-consuming. For busy people, especially if you’re working, travelling to lectures can mean sacrificing time that you may not have. Of course, we understand that many people have responsibilities at home such as caring for a family and our live-online lectures accommodate everyone. Therefore, with online learning, you can gain your qualifications from the comfort of your home.
- If you reside overseas:
Real UK qualifications are in high demand by employers all over the world. However, problems arise for overseas students, such as living costs; a Tier 4 Student Visa restricts the number of hours a student can work, making studying in the UK a financial impossibility for many. If this is something you’ve struggled with, our online courses offer a perfect solution.
Furthermore, you can gain a highly respected UK HND in Business without travelling to Britain. As you can catch up with the lectures at any time, the time difference is not a problem. Moreover, the interactive element allows you to get a real flavour for a UK education and a qualification that will give you a competitive edge in the job market.
2. Technology Brings the Classroom to You
Imagine having all the benefits of a university seminar – a highly qualified lecturer, discussions with your fellow classmates then coming away from each class bursting with new knowledge – without leaving your living room. There would be no need to travel in the cold, sit on plastic chairs or carry back-breaking stacks of books. Well, our live online course offers just that. You will be able to interact verbally or through the onscreen chat with your fellow classmates and lecturer. Further, you can ask questions, make friends and learn from other students as well as your teacher.
While technology speeds up, universities are still expecting students to plough through long chapters of books, which are often outdated. Human Resources is a fast-paced and constantly evolving field that needs to keep up with the current climate. Therefore, our live, interactive lectures use contemporary sources that are up to date with current HR.
Additionally, we use modern methods to keep your education varied and interesting, such as smart boards, shared screens and live video presentations. On the other hand, many universities offer online courses which don’t allow students to benefit from a real classroom feel that is essential for an engaging and thought-provoking education.
3. Real University Lecturers Deliver a High Standard of Teaching
Our aim is to deliver teaching that is as close in quality as that which you’d receive at university. While we can’t deny that a university education is tough to beat, our teaching methods aren’t far behind. Moreover, we only hire high-quality, experienced university lecturers to teach you. In particular, we are approved by Pearson, the UK’s largest and most popular awarding body, who set high standards for the centres that deliver their courses.
Employers are most interested in the skills and knowledge you have gained from a qualification, not where you got it from. Studying online with the College of Contract Management will not only give you those valuable assets but allow you the freedom to gain work or even relevant industry experience that most university students cannot. Furthermore, studying alongside working shows fantastic work-ethic, discipline and get-go which really impresses employers.
4. An Economically Favourable Option
By studying for your HND in Business with us, you will have time to work to earn money whilst saving on travel and accommodation expenses. Moreover, delivering our courses online allows us to charge far less than a university can. We don’t need to pay for utilities, maintenance or staff on the scale that a large university with multiple campuses does, and we didn’t take advantage of the 2012 tuition fee escalation.

Importantly, we will send you an invitation link to each live online lecture. Now, it is advisable but not mandatory to attend the live online lectures as often as possible, but you will be able to view recordings of them on Moodle whenever you like.
How Often You’ll Study
You will receive an invitation to attend 1-2 live online lectures per week. These are chiefly held at weekends, usually in the evening. Each lecture is 2 hours long and the number of total lectures varies from course to course. In addition, you will be given a lecture schedule before each module starts to help you manage your other commitments.
We strongly advise you to supplement your guided learning with several hours of personal study per week, for example reading resource material from Moodle or re-watching segments of lectures.
How You’ll Be Taught
Importantly, our live online lectures are the bedrock of the course. As shown above, the interactive element means you will be able to learn as you would in a classroom. Likewise, lecturers will deliver presentations, ask you questions and examine case studies with you while using technology and modern methods to make your learning efficient and enjoyable.
How You’ll Be Assessed
Now, to pass each module you will complete an assignment. All assignments are written essays that you will have a few weeks to complete.
