Furthermore, there is a requirement of 120 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 80 Guided Learning hours (GLH) which students should meet.. The total credit value of this course is 12.
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning is suitable for learners working in support roles within schools and colleges. To achieve this qualification, learners need to successfully complete 11 mandatory units. Furthermore, there is a requirement of 350 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 210 Guided Learning hours (GLH) which students should meet. The total credit value of this course is 35.

The Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning is suitable for learners working in roles that offer specialist support for pupils’ learning in primary, secondary or special schools, as well as colleges. To attain this diploma, learners need to pass all 16 mandatory units. In addition, there is a requirement of 530 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 310 Guided Learning hours (GLH) which students should meet.

Entry Requirements
You must be a minimum of 16 years old to take this course. There are no other formal entry requirements.
Course Delivery
- After payment has been received, students will be given access to Moodle. This will be your course hub, you will then be able to access your lectures, lecture recordings, course material, messages and your timetable from here.
- Students receive a link every week so they can access the latest live online lectures
- Your assigned lecturer will then deliver interactive live online lectures using a shared-screen software.
- Additionally, you are able to speak to your classmates during the lecture then add them as Friends on Moodle after.
- Finally, later in the module, a series of assignments will be set to test your knowledge and skills.
Assessment
All units consist of internal assessments, they will range from reflective diaries and learner logs to professional discussions and direct observations. The type of assessments will vary in order to test your knowledge and skills.
Assessments are put in place to ensure that the student is confident once completing the course and provides evidence of competency.
Please keep in mind, students must be working or be on a practical placement throughout the duration of the Level 3 teaching assistant course. This should be in a learning environment such as school or college. The reason for this is so students are able to prove proficiency in both knowledge and skills.

- It is possible to complete this Level 3 Diploma within a year but some students can take up to 18 months

Additional Information
The start date of your chosen course will vary depending on your enrolment date, moreover the enrolment date is the date of your full payment. The College of Contract management will award certificates to students who successfully complete the course.
